Hyperlink Technologies

Virgin Technologies and Hyperlink solutions are manufactured by the same company and provide coverage in Canada and North and South America. The Hyperlink Technologies antenna range offers high performance VSAT solutions through a monitored and controlled satellite network. Their network serves commercial end-users with a low contended network for critical communications. The Hyperlink VR7 series is a portable, auto-acquiring satellite solution for communications in remote regions. The Hyperlink Wi-Fi antenna provides Internet and VoIP capabilities and is fully compatible with most satellite modems.

Hyperlink VR7 Satellite Antennas

The Hyperlink VR7 products come in three sizes: 0.96M, 1.2M, and 1.8M antennas. While these systems are ideal as a permanently mounted vehicular solution using a skid mount, they can be deployed on the ground or most surfaces. The Hyperlink wireless antenna is easy to install and use. All the Hyperlink VR7 satellite antennas support Ku-band. Performance of a Hyperlink antenna is unaffected by cold climates and magnetic compass distortion. Features include self-diagnosing, advanced self-leveling for automatic satellite acquisition and advanced algorithms on cross-polarization alignment. These antennas can operate in temperatures between –40°C to 65°C. The deployed wind resistance has been tested at 68mph (100kph) and stowed wind resistance is over 87mph (140kph). Two 35ft RG6 cables and one 35ft interface cable are included.

Controllers

Auto or manual control is supported through an intuitive touch screen controller without the need for software installations. Being highly user-friendly with sophisticated functions, the controllers are designed for easy deployment and stowing. The controller offers a visual display of azimuth, elevation, cross pole, and signal strength. It has momentary buttons for all axis control movements and comes with an external power supply. The rugged design means it is a solid unit to withstand most conditions.
